CJ (Christopher) Herle brings invaluable international expertise to NIAS. CJ retired from the Canadian Air Force in 2003 with global experience in both strategic and tactical airlift as well as air-to-air refueling expertise flying C130s during Operation Desert Storm and various NATO operations. Awarded the rare A-1 Flying Instructor Category, CJ also served as an Executive Officer and Air Officer at Cheyenne Mountain Operations Command Center (NORAD), contingency planning for G7 summits and Mideast conflicts, Diplomatic Liaison for overflight, and numerous international operations. CJ also has experience in Joint Operations, Special Operations, Flight Safety, Instrument Check Pilot, and CRM. CJ holds a Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and was a Captain at WestJet Airlines flying Boeing Next Generation 737s for 10 years. Most recently, CJ worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as Standards and Evaluation Officer to the Royal Saudi Air Force and as a flying instructor to Royal Saudi Air Force cadets.
