How AI Intelligence and Drone Data are Perfecting the Commercial Drone Space

Commercial drone operations often depend on the ability to gather large banks of data in a relatively short period of time. More data gathered by the pilot means more value for the service as a whole. These drone swarms can use artificial intelligence to operate under loose commands from their operator. A data gathering area is determined and the group of drones then maps the area entirely on their own. Their autonomous nature allows for them to avoid each other and stationary objects while also gathering the necessary data in the most efficient way possible. This type of drone flight is ideal for large areas and jobs that require a high level of detail.

Savvy drone operators will use this emerging technology to augment their own abilities – gaining an edge over their competition.
